The thing is there is barely anybody on this site that actually agrees who the fuck is the best QB is to take but it isn't about being the best, it is actually a slag fest on all the candidates, so in essence how good is this years QB batch actually ?

Every single one of them has potential huge negatives according to differing posters, I just do not know who we could take and have a bunch of fans be universally behind the decision.

I am hoping we get lucky and get a chance to take Barkley but just before clicking this link I am sure my eyes saw a post saying we had signed an RB, will have to double check after posting.

I guess that means I am going to be disappointed in not getting the standout RB to ganggreeen.

So signing Teddy gives me a little hope but not much in getting a dream RB that is one of our own to boot, as for Teddy he is a smooth and accurate QB and should be right up a pass catching backs street or TE's, over to Master Bates to design the playbook to take advantage.

EDIT Isaiah Crowell from the Browns, Ma pass me the shotgun :(

    That's a guarantee?

Possible teams that need QB's in top 5
    Browns
    Giants
    Broncos

Possible teams outside the top 5 that need a QB
    Cardinals
    Dolphins
Bills (Already making moves to jump into top 5. Cleveland could easily trade pick 4, and the Colts can easily trade pick 3)

So it's a guarantee that a QB drops to 6? There is a good chance, but there is also a good chance they get nothing. Nothing is guaranteed, this team needs to follow the 7P's - Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

I'd give up on Barkley, especially after the Crowell signing. Tho if he was ever there that would be interesting.
The draft starts this weekend basically, after the initial FA frenzy and the QB's are gonna be put under the microscope. The consensus top 5 are Darnold, Allen, Rosen, Mayfield and Jackson. It'll take better shape as we get closer to the draft.

He's already failed even though free agency hasn't even officially begun yet? Is it totally out of the question to wait until the off season is complete to make such a declaration?

I have to be honest. I’d much rather Teddy start than McCown. It’s the suck you know versus the suck you don’t.

Too much $? It’s only one year and insurance even if he doesn’t start.

I'm definitely good with this signing as I had expected this to happen 'cause I didn't think they had a shot at Cousins. Teddy gives us some depth, leadership, winning experience and class. Going 12-4 with over 60% completion rate is not too shabby. He looked like a very promising player before the injury. Wishing him the best of luck with the Jets. Minnesota fans say he's a class act.

Okay if all 4 are gone we end up with either Barkley or Chubb

Nope. Now with McCown back too (if we actually signed Bridgewater, conflicting reports now...) we are set. We don't need to draft a QB at all now, which is great. Someone will fall to 6 for us.

FREE AGENCY WILL BE A COMPLETE FAILURE IF TEDDY IS NOT SIGNED

Nonsense. TBridge coming to the Jets is a money grab and nothing more. If there won't be any opportunity barring injury for Bridgewater to start, there's really no upside to him coming to the Jets. There's nothing in it for him except cash. Why be a bench body on the Jets? M O N E Y...

They pretty much have been working on that plan with the slight problem that they have totally blown it on most of the draft picks. Then fumbled the golden QB opportunity. Oh, and they haven't really found any playmakers either.

Now why on earth would the Jets need playmakers?

If Bowles has a 100% recovered Teddy on the roster and doesn't start him than we need a new front office.

And this is coming from someone who has supported keeping FO continuity together and keeping Mac and Bowles.

Somehow I think we'll do fine without some slow witted (20 wonderlic) checkdown artist with one leg who has had two unbelievable 50 qb rating seasons. Please Geno 2.0 save us!

Bridgewater is young and talented if I’m not mistaken you all wanted to fire Mac for not taking him in the draft. He was a star in the making and with McCown under contract this would be a great chance to get a young exciting player on an incentive laden deal hopefully.... we can then go best player available at six whether it be a QB or other position.

In 2 different threads you have now referenced:
Yards per carry and wonderlic as your ground breaking evidence to refute my thoughts.

Please stop trolling me. You do not know football.
