I'm just happy the risk of wasting a gajillion dollars on Kurt Cousins appears to have passed.

Now sign a JAG+ and draft a QB. And use that cap money to find a whole offensive line.

would like to see what a j McCarron can do, not to high on teddy, why would Minnesota cut him if he were healthy.
I say bring in both, draft best best Qb at 6 and let them fight it out. between the 5 Qb we should com out with2 or 3 who can play

He’s a free agent, wants a chance to start, and the Vikings just signed a QB to $28 mil per for three years. What about any of that reflects negatively on Bridgewater?

In fairness, they declined his 5th year option last year. Had he not been badly injured, they probably would have picked it up.

well yeah.... but who in their right mind would pick up an option for a guy who just experienced that injury?

He never showed a single flash of being a franchise qb. What flash? 50 qb ratings back to back years?

Depending on the changes Bates made to the offense, Teddy might be able to do pretty well with the west coast dink and dunk, that's what he's good at. He's a good fit here, it all depends on how that knee is holding up. I watched a lot of him at Louisville in 2012-2013, and he dinked and dunked all the way down the field.

I'm interested to see how much/how long the contract is for.

Time to snatch up some OL to protect this kid (or any other kid that takes a snap).

It comes down to options. Aside from the draft, what other options are available?

The tape says a lot more than the numbers. I'm not saying he's the guy to lead the franchise for the next 10 years but if healthy he gives us a better chance to do that than anyone else who's suited up for the Jets under center since Chad Pennington.

They signed Cousins and Bridgewater wants to start. How does that reflect negatively about his ability. Not being better than Cousins isn’t a criticism on its own; add to the fact that he hasn’t played in two years and I fail to see the point you are trying to make.

Both plus a pick at #6 compete would be our best option.

Thank God we didn't overpay for Cousins.

You're getting his Total QBR mixed up with his passer rating.
