Here in Fair Lawn NJ we have maybe 2 inches on the ground. It is snowing hard now. They have forecasted between 13-21 inches possible but I don't see it getting to the high totals. I will wait until about 5-6 inches on the ground before I take the snow blower out for RD 1.
jon...keep looking out the window..something tells me you are about to get hit real hard in the next 10 minutes.
That's the common theme Greg..and I totally get it. Just keep in mind the heaviest part for you is forecasted between 2 and 7. Keep me updated.
this other thread I follow with live updates. Same thing, people down near philly were throwing in the towel and saying only 2" etc. Some western suburbs are reporting close to 3" an hour right now. People with 2" are up to 7 or 8 in less than 3 hours. all moving due north.
I will. I will probably be going out around 4. No way I want to deal with over a foot of the heavy wet stuff in one shot.
had to leave again wife car could not get up driveway kia soul it blows,,,,,boys and me had a hard time getting it up,,,,,its snowing real hard not sure what we have but its piling up,,,keep em coming
very curious to see what my final tally will be,,,,,,if we get ONLY 6 more hours,,,I don't think we hit high numbers but I could be wrong
Just looked out the window here in Fair Lawn NJ. It wasn't sticking this morning but looks like about 2 inches on the ground so far but it is snowing pretty good. It's 2:40 right now and the worst is supposed to be over in the early evening. I don't know what the final totals will be but I doubt we get more than a foot and half. At least I hope the totals remain on the low side.
unless you average 2 inches an hour and don't count that out..telling you...huge bands are a comin....keep me updated.
Yeah...there is a band that setup from Trenton into north central jersey that has not moved..and it wont. You will hit your numbers there sir...then on north.
Oh, yes. It's sticking in Bergen County, and has been for a while. We have maybe a couple of inches. The plow already went down my street.
Will do Sir,,,keep em coming,,,,ps NWS still has NYC FOR 8-12,,,,,NOTHING ON GROUND yet at least not much...hmmmmmmm
was just checking out a cam of Times square...I mean...lol...cant see how it can stick. A real big HMMMMM with the NYC prediction.
