Hey guys! Just wanted to bring light to our poor drafting in recent years.... have we not noticed that ex jets aren't a commodity in this league? Poor drafting has lead to my assumption. It seems as if our ex players never do a damn in this league.... it starts at the top. Go jets
That's probably what's most often mentioned on this website. For the most part all of the posters here know that the reason why the Jets have been so bad is because of poor drafting and poor player FA acquisitions. Mac has been nothing special since coming to NY and if the Jets will ever have a chance at a SB Mac needs to get his act together. I also think that Mac and Blowes are just not on the same page? Blowes does not how to best utilize the players that Mac selects. A lot of square pegs in round holes? Not that Mac's selections have been anything special where it's so obvious they are being misused? But most of all, Blowes is a TERRIBLE HC. I don't know how many different areas where he is vastly deficient. he gets outcoached in every game. I have yet to see a single game where he actually outcoached the opposition. I just does not happen. So I agree this all starts at the top. If Mac and Blowes improve themselves we have an opportunity with so much salary cap to get better in a hurry. Lets hope this very pivotal time we are in is met with wise decisions....
Our castaways. Hmm, I thought everyone knew the answer to that one. It's been 54 years since the crew and passengers have not been rescued.
Free Mary Ann and The Professor! Gilligan's Island trivia: the exterior scenes for the opening theme of Gilligan's Island in the first season (in black and white) were filmed on November 25, 1963. If you look carefully at the background as the Minnow leaves the marina at the Ala Wai Yacht Club in Honolulu (at the 23 second mark of the top video above) you can clearly see that a flagpole has the flag flying at half-staff (it's actually higher than half-staff, but lower than full-staff), in honor of John Kennedy's death. The reshot (in color) scene for the seasons 2 and 3 intro don't have that, of course, and were filmed in Marina del Rey.
