I wonder what that Bears fan who kept talking up Grossman last week is thinking right now.

Fisher is one of the smartest coaches. Perhaps Vince Young called the timeout?

The Giants have a history of blowing games.

Kiwanuka did let up for fear of a roughing the passer call. What a dumb decision on his part.

Maybe, but it's still Fisher's fault. In that situation, especially with a rookie QB, you make sure that he knows exactly what he's supposed to do in any possible situation after the play is over. If he did that and Young ignored it that's something else entirely, but otherwise I put the onus on him.

Obviously no one cares now, but the Giants actually had a little something going on the return for a moment before it all became moot.

I didn't understand why they kept throwing the ball around on that return. They would've at least had a chance for a 50 yard hail mary.

Well, Coughlin probably figured Eli would throw it into the ground or Burress would quit on it.

That interception that Manning threw was flat out terrible. I think this is the end of Giants fans making excuses for Eli Manning.

The timeout at the 11 second mark was a good choice.

The timeout probably left open the opportunity to take another shot at the sideline, but they thought better of it.

If something went wrong with the snap, they would have been able to call a timeout and try again.

They didn't have any timeouts left though. I guess if the snap was bad and it got away for a second or two they could've thrown the ball away and tried to stop the clock. I think you've got to let it run down in that spot.
