It could easily be 10 year in NJ. if you create a risk of injury to the police officer or others around you while fleeing in a vehicle the sentence can be 10 years.
Speeding and acted like an asshole to the cops. The threatening public official/family member is verbal garbage. Need to prove intent and means to do so. The cop didn't beat him down for that shit. Nonsense charge. Not a positive way to behave but no weapons, no physical violence, no drugs, no dui... Can we please not lose any sense of perspective

They should suspend him a half season w/out pay. Take the $$$ away. No way am I cutting him from the team. However, I would think twice on resigning him.
