That group, especially KMart and Brian Coz can come across a bit like a frat, so you'd assume Cimini getting canned would be brought up by now.
The team is at least good every so often... The beat writers....always terrible. I hope Cimini is out.
Could give a ____. Our media Twitter feed reads like a who's who of douchebags. To put that in perspective, Connor Hughes is one of the "better" ones.
Didn't Cimini create a fake blog or twitter account because of Steiny something? Fake Steiny? What do I know from these things.
It’s night & day compared to the Giants beat. They get real football analysis we get TMZ sports. The local media will do everything in their power to keep the aura of misery surrounding this team& fan base in tact. They love playing into the melodrama & kicking the fan base when we’re down. Look how often Boston media takes unprovoked shots at the Jets.Youd think there’d be some sense of NY pride to sort of give it right back to them w the cheating & all their other bullshit. But nope.In fact our best writers likely help give them ammunition! Think that’d fly w the Giants beat?Absolutely not.Theyd have their team & fan base’s back Horrible all around
I'd still take him over Peter Patty Cake King anyday of the week. he makes me puke every time I hear him. Just become a Patriots staff writer & be done with it
Cimini admitted that his favorite year to cover the Jets was the 1-15 season. He's useless, and just serves as a reminder of all the bad things that have happened over the years. How could anybody prefer to cover a 1-15 team over an 11-5 team that goes to the AFC championship beating the patriots on their way. Screw that guy.
He might be doing that thing that people do....go on Vacation. However the ESPN firings do make this a bit more intriguing. I know everyone hates Rich because he has a lot of snide remarks, but I actually think he's a very competent and intelligent beat reporter. He takes his shot at the Jets, but for how long he's been covering this team, I'd rather not see him go.
You don't take a vacation in the middle of the NFL football season when you're a beat reporter. He could've done that during the bye week. He's toast. I actually like him (in the minority, I know) and I'm sorry to see him go. He'll probably pop up somewhere else.
