NFL.com's Adam Schefter reports Jay Cutler will likely make his starting debut in Week 13 against the Seahawks. Schefter reports Denver is ready to go with Cutler now but would rather not start him on Thanksgiving at Kansas City, a hostile environment in a shortened week. Pick him up right away if you're relying on some combination of A.J. Feeley and Jeff Garcia. Cutler has the arm, athletic ability, and receivers to become an immediate fantasy force. Jake Plummer should try to sabotage the team for hanging out to dry like this. Then again, I'd be hard to distinguish sabotage from his normal style of play.
Good thing the Jets passed on Cutler. Why would we draft a young QB that was NFL ready in the first place?
Bah, he's was a 2nd rounder all last CF season and then shoots up the boards with a laser rocket arm at the combine. Pass.
To draft a left tackle. Nothing wrong with that, as QB, LT, and RDE/ROLB (depending upon whether the team runs a 4-3 or 3-4 defense) are the three most important positions. Also, just because Shanahan announced this possible switch it does not mean Cutler is ready. He could suck bad. Ben Roethlisberger and Dan Marino were exceptions.
me too. What happens if Jake the Snake has a huge game and leads denver to a Win? Sorry but youre benched
