Chargers romping over Boys and we get them on Xmas Eve,,wow..Rivers showing he is the more experienced QB Dak is good, not great..but his OL fell apart and Zeke Elliot got himself in trouble . I feel bad for HC J Garret cause I dont think he is a bad Coach I remember seeing all the Garret brothers play in late 80s when they attended Princeton and Columbia..smart , talented great student athletes
I'm not so sure about Garrett. His record was 25-7 in 2014 and 2016, but otherwise he's 36-41 in his other 6 seasons. He might not be a bad coach, but I don't think he's anything particularly special, either.
lots of touchdowns and failed conversions in that game I don't get why the Chargers didn't go for two every time after the first missed XP
Washington's defense is terrible against tight ends. If Engram drops passes like that one in this game the Giants are going to get destroyed - he has to have a big game.
Moron Robertson gets the punt inside the 10 and then casually runs into the end zone, giving the Giants the touchback and the ball at the 20.
I can't remember seeing that before. I've seen guys unable to keep it out of the end zone, or losing their balance, but never deliberately running into the end zone for a touchback
I have to keep reminding myself that since I hate the Giants I'm rooting for them to win. Worse draft position, maybe lose the chance to get a FQB, maybe even save McAdoo's job - all bad things for the Giants.
All Doctson had to do was stick his arm out before he went out of bounds instead he casually steps out of bounds and costs them the drive
Real incompetence there - receiver loses track of where the first down marker is, and then a play action rollout on 4th and 1 that goes absolutely nowhere. Redskins look plenty bad here.
Giants defense has been horrific against TEs this season (and pretty bad in general) Vernon Davis is silent. Not sure if he's been targeted.
Cousins sure isn't helping his free agency case tonight. He hasn't been too great in 5 of his last 6 games, in fact.
So from a Jets fan point of view, I'm assuming we want the Giants to win this game in the hopes that they can continue to hurt their draft stock which indirectly improves the Jets'?
4th and inches inside the 40, why was the punt team out there? Redskins just wasted a timeout for nothing
3 1/2 minutes left and Eli, of the 70 passing yards all game, needs to take the Giants down the field for a tying TD.
