I don't know why you're trying to twist what I said. What I said was that if you tried to ban guns in this country you'd end up with a bloody mess of a civil war. I also explained to you that one of the reasons I speak out against these calls is that I'm not interested in such a war. You're a smart guy, what's the difficulty?

I will certainly continue to speak out against any dipshit politician that wants to ban guns or further restrict our rights. Sorry if that bothers you.

 

whoa, first off what you say about politicians will never bother me I am just trying to understand your thinking. Because we agree on the core point here that guns would never be banned in this country and yet have quite different levels of focus going from there.

I don't think anyone is interested in a bloody civil war that's why I don't ever worry about my guns being taken away

Law abiding citizens aren't the problem. If the government tries to take away fundamental rights they will be the problem.

 

Right , because people shouldn't fight back when they are being forced into submitting their constitutional rights.

 

If by the establishment you mean career politicians and the mainstream media, the last thing they want is a civil war. Aside from Trump being president the ones I know are happy with their place in society right now. They'd have much more to lose and much less to gain.

 

I would think so, but i don't think it's hard to imagine that the whole race issue over the last few years has had a lot of manufacturing. Unrest seems to be in interest. But I guess that is more manageable and small potatoes compared to a war over gun ownership.

Honestly,i kind of sympathize with greenday. if this is your political alignment,i guess I wouldn't want the society around me having guns either. Every time I see a group of hysterical lefties ,I always wait for Chief and Mcmurphy to show up.

 

Don't know why he bothered with a gun when he could have just had the Russians nuke them.

 

Because idiots like these can own guns despite not being qualified to do so.
