The Jets have waived WR Jalin Marshall, who was added to the 53 on Monday following suspension. They added CB Xavier Coleman from PS

 

WR Jalin Marshall cleared waivers and signed with the Jets' practice squad

 

Jets have released Travaris Cadet

 

The Jets activated CB Robert Nelson from the practice squad and released RB Travaris Cadet. The club also signed LB Jeremy Cash and RB Akeem Judd to the practice squad and released S Harold Jones-Quartey from the P-squad.

 

The Jets have placed rookie CB Xavier Coleman (shoulder) on IR. They re-signed TE Neal Sterling

 

The Jets have placed rookie TE Jordan Leggett (knee) on IR. They announced the signing of DE Xavier Cooper.

 

Did he even play a single down?

 

Not since the pre-season as far as I know. This isn't the worst thing in the world. We have a solid TE 1-2 punch in SJ and ET.
He wasn't going to play much anyway. This is likely a precautionary move, and to open up a roster spot.
