Jets will get pounded HARD and we can go back to talking about the #1 pick. Sorry but it's true.

We can talk about the number one pick until the cows come home but that baby has long since left our grasp.

16 teams with a worse record than us on current standings.

3 teams with a 0/5 record and 2 with a 1/4, we are not getting the number one pick this season my friend.

While I agree about the get pounded part, unfortunately the #1 pick ship has already sailed.

I'm a believer in momentum. And regardless of which teams the Jets have beaten; they've still won 3 consecutive games.

I'm at least hopeful that these young gun Jets will ride our 3 game momentum streak while hosting the Patriots at home in JetLife today come 1:00. If we've got momentum with home field advantage behind us, we'll compete and won't be easy to beat.

Look. This team is young & fast and also playing hard with heart and fight. I don't see them backing down from a challenge today. I don't see them playing scared against N.E come 1:00. If anything i see a young team with a veteran QB who's ready and hungry enough to pull off an upset.

I'm not scared of Brady, Belichick & N.E anymore. I know their time is coming to an end. I know they're beatable and most certainly not undefeated. As a fan I've been saying to myself for the past 5+ years... "i can't wait for Tom Brady to reach 40". Well now. He's 40 years old.

He's still playing great, but he's 40 years old and today i am no longer scared of the guy. Hit him early. Hit him often. And hit him hard. And I've seen it before, he'll begin to yell at the refs, scream at his teammates and overall throw a temper tantrum both on the field & on the sidelines. I want Brady's 40 year old body to feel pain today with pressure right up the middle.

And I'm glad that Rob Gronkowski is expected to play because dating back to draft night I've thought about both Jamal Adams & Marcus Maye vs. Gronk. This is a Safety/TE matchup that I've anticipated. I'm ready to see Gronkowski challenged and physically abused and i believe that we (now) have two former SEC beast safeties in order to do so.

I don't see this young team getting slaughtered today. I don't see these young kids backing down come 1:00. I don't see these young players playing scared either. I see a team who's on a 3 game win streak, @ home & ready for a breakout upset.

One thing i can guarantee. 4-2 is the goal for coach Todd Bowles and our young Jets team.

Jets W over N.E at home.
Bills L against ATL @ Falcons.

And these 2017 N.Y JETS will hold sole possession of 1st place within the AFC East while heading into week 7 (Miami).

We are still in the hunt for a number one pick

Here's why: Including today there are 11 games left in the season and ANYTHING can happen i.e. Teams that are losing keep losing OR can start winning. Plus, sorry to say, the Jets could start a long losing streak (please check our schedule)..conceivably we could end up from 3-2 to 3-13

As we all know to keep your job in the NFL you need to win so losing teams are HIGHLY motivated to turn it around..

Let's take the Giants for example: If they run the table they are 11-5 (who knows or they end up 3-13 like we might)

In short it's way to early to throw in the tank towel imo

Brady has his new favorite go to guy in Hogan and I can't see us winning a shoot out even with no Gronk or Amendola

Of course, if the Jets come through with an upset it will be a happy shock for all of us

Too many options to cover in the passing game, don't see how we manage to slow then down today.

I'm curious if I'll be watching this game longer than when my wife rents B rate horror movies, which on average 6 to 10 mind before they become unbearable

Well if we get the opportunity to tackle him hard then we take it, unlike last season as we allowed him to waddle for a 7 yard gain, that was utterly pathetic, he should have been smashed into retirement, nobody showed Petty any mercy when they had a free hit on him.

Sucks. Takes a kickoff out of the endzone and slowly dances until he gets tackled at the 12. Bad decision making and slow. Also catches a wide open ball and dances for no gain.

These young guns came out ready to compete. Ready to flight. And no rolling over & playing dead in them.

Throughout the first 5 weeks i seen ZERO reason to believe they'd play to get destroyed and "slaughtered" like a fkn pig.

Brady's starting cry. What a perfect time to pole ax him.
