New England has had one of the best point differentials over the last decade and among the highest wins by double digits. And comparing the Jets to the Patriots? Really?
Jets played like dog shit for the most part and due to Kizer and Hugh Jackson being inept they were able to pull out a close one. ASJ is a stud, and Kearse looked good again. Why isn't ArDarius Stewart playing more? He always seems to make a stud play and then get taken off....
Wrong. The Jets are 3-2 and within the thick of things. The Browns on the other hand are 0-5 with their season over before it started. Big difference. The same Jaguars team that we beat last week just whooped the Steelers on the road @ Pittsburgh by the score of 30-9. Some of you all really do sound incompetent of being a fan of football and understanding how the sport works. Any. Given. Sunday. 3 in a row for a team that was expected to go 3-13, 2-12, 1-15, 0-16? Sorry (not really) but everyone was wrong.
Can someone. Please. Anyone. Tell me what happened to the Steelers @ home in Pittsburgh against the same Jaguars team the Jets beat last Sunday? Exactly. Crickets!!!
The Browns outgained the Jets by 200 yards. Take off the green googles, this team is very bad and they're going to get exposed next week by NE and in the following weeks as the schedule gets tougher.
Don't get ahead of yourself - it is still possible for this team to end up 3-13 then many would not be wrong. More likely they will end up 4-12 or 5-11 with an outside shot at 6-10. I put the chance of winning more than 6 at extremely unlikely.
We caught a lot of lucky breaks. Receivers tipping passes directing into our hands, etc. Defense was atrocious. Offense struggled mightily most of the game. There's winning because of sound play and there's winning because of blind luck. Today was more of the latter. And again, nothing happened today that showed hope for the future.
Stop acting like N.E is unbeatable or undefeated. They've lost 2 games as well and would've been ''exposed" against TB if not for Nick Folk missing 3 FG's. N.E could easily be 1-4 right now. Should've lost to both Houston & TB but escaped with wins. N.E has not "exposed" anyone thus far throughout 2017. 4-2 is the goal regardless if you like it or not. 3 wins in a row and now get a home gane vs. N.E. In other words N.Y is playing with house money against N.E @ 3-2 overall with nothing to lose and everything to gain.
You mean the Steelers who needed a bad call to beat the Browns by 3 week 1, the same Steelers who lost to the Bears week 3 ? We beat a poorly coached Brown's team who out played us. I get the happiness over a win, but your going to regret drinking the cool aid.
If that idiot HC of the Browns kicks the FG, that late TD ties the game. The Jets didn't win so much as the Browns lost this game due to their own stupidity. Lets call this what it is...
Who's he gonna start in place of? Anderson is the HR threat and has been keeping defenses honest. Kearse has been steady as they come, reliable possession WR Kerley continues to be one of the better 3rd down/slot WR's in the game...again he's steady as they come. Stewart is the next in line but there's simply not much PT for him, unless he's a sub or they go 4 wide.
I have no delusions that the Jets are going 14 and 2. If you have spent any time rooting for this team, you know that they are just as capable of going 3 and 13. But a Sunday like today makes a Monday morning like tomorrow, surrounded by Giants fans at work, a very easy thing to do!
Some people are going to be extra salty if the Jets actually play a good game against New England next week. And by some freak chance they actually win...look out! I thought for sure we were going to be an under 3 win team this season. Glad to be wrong. Much more fun watching this young team actually growing together and learning how to win.
Absolutely. I am thrilled with 3-2.. You cannot coach listening to fans or cliches. Going on 4 and 1 down 3 -- made no sense. Tie up the game and stop us on offense. They just gifted us the game. Granted Jets had a great drive. But -- when he called the kicker off the field -- i said its a mistake -- one that we usually make. I dont really give us a chance against the pats...but so what.
I would give him more reps, him and Kerley can split reps. I just don't get the logic of drafting a WR out of Alabama in the 3rd round if you're not gonna let him play. And its not like he's inept or doing something he isn't supposed to be doing. He catches everything thrown his way.
It feels good to be 3-2 and make pretend we have a chance at beating NE this week..reality is we would be lucky to win 2 more games this year.
