This is exactly what I was thinking. It makes not sense at all. All this information coming out about show no signs of motive or mental illness. Of course they immediately took down his Facebook so there is no chance that we could see more into who he was. There is a video out there claiming that he was at an anti-Trump rally, but it cannot confirm that it is actually him. Also, the Asian girl that he was with was apparently involved with leftist organizations, but I cannot confirm what his political affiliation was. We still don't know the agenda that was driving the terror. Paddock has no clear agenda or motive for the massacre at this point. He apparently gave no indications beforehand nor left any notes or other statements suggesting he was going to do this. It's very possible that the authorities actually have information that provides an agenda but have not released it yet. In the absence of a clear motive or agenda this looks just like mass killing for the hell of it and our taboos are so strongly against that type of atrocity that it makes me wonder a bit.

It does matter because these forces are likely to strike again. There's such a vitriolic hatred for this president and people who voted for him. I'd advise taking steps to defend yourself however you feel comfortable and keeping your eyes and ears open in the coming months. I get rooms on the strip the day I'm coming in, so while he may have booked in advance to get that particular room, I don't see it being that hard to just ask for a room on an upper floor with a southern view, or whatever way he was facing. You said some entity was behind this, absent absolutely any proof, so don't tell me to use common sense, you obviously aren't.
