Excited for this one- biggest fight of the year. Its sad that Mayweather vs Mcgregor overshadowed this. I am pulling for Triple G, but wouldn't be surprised if Canelo wins. Predictions?

I came here to make a topic asking if anyone else is as excited as me for this one. All I know if it comes down to a decision you will have fans of both fighters screaming how they got it wrong. lol I'm leaning towards GGG winning via KO. That mofo hits hard. I don't care who wins tbh I just want to see a good match.

I think GGG but i love both fighters. Way more excited for this than the circus act we saw a couple weeks ago.

118-110? How stupid. Why do I still watch boxing? What a stupid decision.

What in world was she watches? Neither fighter won 118-110.

That was an amazing fight and the best I've ever seen in my short lived interest in boxing. It certainly lived up to the hype. Triple G got robbed.

    That's boxing though I guess.

Twitter is absolutely exploding over his right now. This is so bad for the sport.

This is why they need one unified sanctioning body like UFC. Stuff like this does not happen in the UFC and would never be allowed.

That was straight up offensive to boxing fans. Triple G forced the pace of the fight. I understand Canelo is a counter puncher, but I lost respect for him. He was very soft throughout the fight, and looked winded in the 8th round. Overall, this fight was a disappointment, and I thought Triple G handily won.

    Every fight has corrupt judges.

    Same old story with boxing.

118-110 Canelo in a fight which GGG pretty obviously won.

Sounds like the judge didn't share the payoff she got and she's being punished for it. Normally nothing is done about the corrupt judging.

    https://www.si.com/boxing/2017/09/1...ggg-vs-canelo-alvarez-controversial-scorecard

Boxing judge Adaliade Byrd will take a break from scoring any fights in the near future, Nevada Athletic Executive Director Bob Bennett told The Independent.

"I'm not going to put her right back in," Bennett said. "She's still be in the business, but she needs to catch her breath."

“Like in any profession, you have a bad night," he added. "Unfortunately, she didn’t do well. I can tell you she conducts training for us, takes judges under her wing, but her score was too wide.”

Some apparently knew about the fix.

I am taking a victory lap on this one. Been saying and writing all week that Adalaide Byrd was going to do this. Incredibly predictable.
