Todd Bowles and his 20 plus years of NFL experience can't be wrong, he sees something in camp that prohibits him from giving Petty more first team reps.
After seeing the replay that was a pretty bad roughing the passer call. Donahue has a motor but is undersized.
Yeah.. His boss.. Gotta give Hack all the reps that McClown doesn't get to justify that 2nd round draft status..Petty gets scraps. Just the way it is.
They have no freakin players on offense, Vince Lombardi couldn't win with this. What are you gonna pile on the guy all season.
It's amazing that people refuse to believe that Mac was reaching when he took Mac in the 2nd and is forcing Bowles to make it look like he was worth it to justify his job.
Forgot he was drafted in 2015 so I was wrong; it's his 3rd season. Either way my point remains. He's wasn't a high draft pick nearing the end of his rookie contract he has to force the CS to give him more reps by making those type of plays.
I'm too old to remember that. Honestly, I'm not a gloom and doomer. I just learned not to get too high, or too low over the years. My mother used to say, "He who expects nothing is nevr disappointed." She used to be a Brooklyn Dodgers fan.
Thanks! (I think). Well, Petty looks pretty good, as I expected he would if given a chance. I know it's against the #2's, but he's still doing the right things. I didn't get to see Hack, but sounds like he took a step backwards - too much pressure after he "succeeded" last week? This is going to be a looooong season!
They had talent last year and were awful We were more talented than the Bills in 2015. What happened?
Ok, all joking aside, next week is the real showcase of our offense, starters for the entire 1st half. I believe with Beachum, Carpenter, Johnson, Winters, Shell. The protection will be better, whether the run game will improve, that remains to be seen. Enjoy rest of weekend.
