Tanking this year in order to get a franchise QB is a MUST
I agree, the Herm and Mangini years were extremely successful compared to our last 5 years. We are bad even considering our history. Tank for the QB and hopefully a new head coach at least.
Ha this actually makes me wonder who is everyone's favorite QB? The old guys are gonna call Namath by after that it's gonna be all over the place. Not even kidding Chad Pennington is my favorite QB. I'm 29 years old.
No, never Herm please. Bill Parcells .604 and Al Groh .563 had highest reg season win % Herm .488 Mangini .479 BTW TB is .468
geezus kris that is one fucked up list for a team in the media capital of the world. figure it out woody before i die.

Funny enough in 2008 we were on fire until favre got hurt and started sucking and the jets hid it form everyone. also favre had penis gate too lol
You wanna know why the Jets had such sorry QBs? Look no further than who has owned the team during that time frame: Leon Hess - roughly from 1973, when he became majority stockholder, until is death in 1999 Woody Johnson - 1/18/2000 to the present
I was just thinking about the classy way they gave Boomer Number 7, while Kenny O was still on the team.
I'm tempted to say Vinny because I started watching football in '93, and that was my first taste of success after the Kotite dark ages. But yeah, probably Chad, oft-injured as he was.
Man what nightmares those 1995 and 1996 openers were. 1995, both teams sloppy in the 1st. Miami then runs out to a 14-0 lead in the 2nd. Then we recover a fumble for a TD and intercept Marino to set up another TD. Suddenly it's 14-14. Then you blink and it's 52-14 Miami. 1996. High expectations. A lot more talent. Still Kotite. I remember NBC making fun of the Jets with how every defensive lineman for us was taking a knee with his helmet off desperately trying to catch a breath. We weren't even conditioned enough to take the field.
