    Jets announce they have signed FB Algernon Brown and waived WR Bruce Ellington with a failed physical designation.

    Not a good pick by the staff. Someone didn't do the proper workup and just wasted some time by the pickup. Did we need another FB, and why not more OL help somehow or another WR.

    I think the FO is actively scouring the waiver wire and will continue to rotate bodies right up to the 90 man cut down. I believe it's September 4th. They will pounce on any o lineman they feel can make the roster. Right now they seem to be looking for the best kick returner they can find. There have not been any good o line or Recievers waived in recent days. The rule changes to the roster limits, no more cut downs, just the one from 90 to 53 has limited the FA pool. I expect a flurry of signings right after Sept 4.

    He had just been cut, they need to make the claim before they bring him in to do the physical, etc.
