hey guess what boss. this is a place where people are allowed to have opinions, and just because you think one way and others think another is not a reason to tell anyone to stfu. so kindly blow it out your ass.

 

At this point I'd like to see a complete redesign of our uniforms ...something more modern yet not over the top like some of the NIKE designs I've seen .
As far as the helmets go this is one I've had saved for a while .
I like this one a lot .

I don't understand the need for updated or modernized uniforms. Maynard's uniform in my avatar is, in my opinion, perfect. The best looking modernized uniform, to my eye, is the Cardinals uniform, and even that one is a downgrade from their old uniforms.

Does the NFL think we're going to watch more football because the uniforms change? I doubt it. Do teams think they'll sell more jerseys if they change the uniforms? YES. I don't know why think think they have to do that-- they could sell gold and purple jerseys with the right name and number on them and morons would buy them right off the shelf or off the web, they don't need to see it on the field to make that choice.

Be classy again, NFL!

 

Wouldn't mind some of the "classic" type Kelly green unis.... esp at some home games this year.

 

No reason the Jets can't have all the looks at their disposal. The only restriction is the white helmet as the NFL will only approve one mold due to concussion reasons. You could certainly switch out decals & such.

Since they love hybrid schemes..they could create a hybrid uniform inspired by both logo concepts. Put the slash logo back on the helmet but keep the current logo where it is on the Jersey.Get the coloring & dynamics just right and everybody is happy.

 

I'm not against touching up the uniforms a bit. Doesn't have to be drastic (not against that either).. Tweak the green, font of the names or numbers, rework the collar or sleeves.. something like that could make a big diff without changing the uniform completely

 

Yeah as really think that the uniforms need to have a 21st century look in a sense.

 

I didn't mind the color rush uniform shade of green. I also like he chrome green finish on the facemask and decal on the helmet.

Pair that jersey (or our current design with that shade of green) with white pants, and our all whites as the away/alt uniform.

A mix of classic with a modern touch

 

i'm for the 98 redo . no green pants no black anywhere and 80s as the throwback

I always liked the swoosh logo.

It's clean and simple.





The current logo should say "NJ Jets".
