    2 Safeties! Im really close to giving up on this team. I wanted Samuels and or Cook. We need offensive firepower.

    Two safeties in the first two rounds, with Calvin Pryor in the line up.

    Brilliant.

    The only I can make sense out of this bullshit is, if Jets do install 3-3-5 Triple stack as their base defense. [This might have some merit against teams like Patriots.] Other than that - just what the fuck?

    safeties are important.... but not THIS important. i dont understand the thought process. with all the holes we have and all the need for help on offense to pass on some of the guys they passed on for another safety doesnt make a ton of sense. typical jets.

    This is what happens when glorified defensive coordinators have coached our team for the better part of 20 years. We could have gotten Awuzie or Cook that would have done a lot more for us as a team. Instead our offense is gonna look like a division III team this year. Must be purposely tanking for Darnold.

    I think this is more about TB saving his job.. It wouldn't surprise me if the Jets draft a CB or a LB in the 3rd.. Offense is not a priority this year.. It NEVER is a priority.

    That's the only thing I can think of. Set a record low for points and go 1-15 for Darnold and then let him revive this offense. Let the youthful defense gel for a year and be ready for big time football to carry the kid for a season until he's ready to play at a high level.

    Everyone is saying jets are shoppping pryor and richardson. Love the picks in theory we finally have great help over top. Two guys with decent hands and tackling skills. I guess if you cant fix the coverage problems in one season you make sure you have the support help for your weak spot.

    These damn defensive coaches man. They want to build this perfect defense and ignore the offense. I predict Mac and Bowles get fired after this year and if don't hire someone from then offense the god help this team.
