Amen, the poster had it ass backwards.... pryor will now stay in the box where he belongs and if he doesn't learn how to wrap up and tackle properly, he will be gone next year if they don't trade him this year.

Bowles is gonna go down with HIS players. He has obviously seen enough of Pryor to move in a new direction. Power up front and speed in the back.

It's hard to understate how badly the Idzik disaster set the franchise back. With Milliner, Richardson, Geno, Pryor, Amaro, and McDougle, the Jets somehow managed to get basically nothing out of SIX picks in the first 3 rounds. Basically need to replenish the talent pool everywhere because of that.

Maccagnan is doing his best to make sure we don't score next year though. So pick your poison. In a points driven league where the offense is catered to you don't continue to build the defense for two decades and a decade into the rule changes.

    Play Pryor as a Rover...Moneybacker/Rover
This guy has talent...but he needs to be in the box or around it.... he has good size and speed .
    Belichick is salivating...lol

Yeah then if Bowles gets fired, we get a defensive coach that wants the traditional positions and one of them gets cut lol.

I posted this in another thread, but according to overthecap.com, Pryor in his last year costs us $2mil and its 100% a deadweight loss if we cut him. Gilchrist on the other hand, frees up another $6 million after June 1st. Therefore, I don't see the point in releasing Pryor unless he's taking up an important spot for another player we want.

Just don't get it, i liked the pick alot when he was drafted. He then had a rough rookie year followed by a really good second year. To me he was the most improved player on the team. Then last season happend.

With pryor I really think it just comes down to not caring enough and not putting the work in because he has shown what he can do when he's on it.

Idk Mabey he just has a 2 cent brain lol. Regardless, still frustrating that it seems like another wasted first rounder

    That says it all.
Gilchrist is a goner, Pryor gets a chance to play for another pay day somewhere, maybe.
