Yeah we tried that for the last 9 years. How has it worked for us?

Nice pick up... Now I hope we draft Watson.

There is no pickup...yet, anyway. I can't believe so many guys here are getting carried away with a single tweet saying this may happen and are treating it as if it's signed, sealed and delivered and are making predictions on the contract terms already. By the time most people read this it may well be a done deal but why treat it as such just because the OP here wrote a wrong headline? Claiborne doesn't sign until he signs and if a deal falls apart it certainly won't be the first time.

The same guys who consistently bash reporters here are jumping into this hook, line and sinker just because they like the idea, regardless of if it actually will happen.

Why would it mean no Hooker? IMO we still have a glaring need at FS.

Hooker is still #1 on the board. Claiborne signing hopefully means no Lattimore and in actuality increases our chances of getting a player like Hooker or Foster

    Nice try though

Don't mind Boozer, he's been on the booze for some time now. He actually thinks Gilchrist is a solid safety.

I don't think the Claiborne addition precludes the Jets from drafting anyone.

If Claiborne can stay healthy he will do well for us. He's been one of the better CB's in the NFL the last 2 seasons prior to injury and I also don't think signing him does not mean we can't draft DB at 6.

U NYJ fans are such dreamers because if the guy was any good he would have been signed to a top tier rather then us the bottom of the bottom tier teams.

Hell yes what's not to like.... Especially if it is a prove it deal he is young and will want to cash in at the end of this deal.... Awesome.

Good deal. He played well on a contract year last season, so hopefully he can repeat (minus the injury...).

I really hope to see Juston Burris and even Marcus Williams take steps forward this year too

Good Job there just think he should have gave him a year 2 non guaranteed money so we assure that if he is good we got him under contract
