    Yes please.

  3. Still young & hopefully productive at a longtime need spot.Perry/Jenkins/Mauldin isn't a bad rotation,really.

Hope he wasn't just a contract year wonder, but I like the idea to bolster the pass rush

We just need somebody on the outside with decent talent to take advantage of all the double teams Wilk and Williams take up. Perry would be a great pickup on the defensive side of the ball.

Pack can't afford him. They have big money (like 1/3 of their total cap) invested in Rodgers, Matthews, Cobb, and Nelson.

That's a lot of cheddar. I would be all in for 8-10mil, but at 12-14 I'd rather pass this year and see what the draft brings.

    Stop.

Please the anti Mo talk has went too far. The guy has had ONE bad year in a lost season out of 6, quit trashing him. He's been top 3 at his position in 4 of those years.

I just don't think you are going to see 8-10 million be suffice for a 26 year old pass rusher anymore. Free Agent Market is way up currently. Perry has better walk year stats than Olivier Vernon, and we all know how much the Giants paid him last year (at a year younger yes).

Sadly, no one is giving the Jets a hometown discount any time soon, so to get younger talent (not 29-30 used property), we're going to have to pony up the cash.

Mac is totally inept at drafting/acquiring linebackers. He's been responsible for 5 now and yet Toilet thinks so little of the group that he has Sheldon playing stand up linebacker? Darron Lee is a classic bad pick. Completely wrong fit, very undersized, not smart enough or instinctual to play in a hybrid 3-4.

    So you do the math?

First of all, it Mac had gotten things right to begin with, Nick Perry wouldn't even be a need. But wih that said, can Mac get it right on his 6th opportunity? I've already made it known that I have serious reservations about his competency....

    I concur. I mean, what?...

Darron Lee played very well, even overtook a solid starter in Henderson for snaps. Jenkins showed nothing but progress all season.

Lee is undersized? You're living in the past if you believe this. The prototypical 260lb LBs, especially MLBs are the past. Players like Lee and Ryan Shazier are the future.

Not a single one of the 5 Mac acquired would start for another team. I have no idea where you get these delusions? Darron Lee was ranked as the very worst rookie linebacker according to PFF. We could have gotten 73 tackles and a sack from a jag making league minimum. Jenkins and Mauldin are pure garbage. They can't even become starters? But most of all, if Mac had done such a wonderful job, toilet wouldn't have Sheldon playing linebacker.

You mean the same PFF that ranked Jenkins as the second best rookie edge defender behind Joey Bosa ?

As soon as I hear someone say "but PFF said..." It's hard for me to consider what you say insightful or credible. PFF's algorithms are incredibly out of wack making it a terrible gauge to base performance on. They are beyond a misrepresentation.
