Mixed feelings watching one of the all time great Jets bow out. This had to happen; time to move forward.

    Revis laughs at your praise,,,,,,,,60Xs

He already thinks he was better than deion sanders...

He got what really mattered to HIM not to his TEAM

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Complete rip off artist offsets all his talents

Have fun paying lawyers and playing flag football

I don't understand why. He has no guaranteed money in his contract this season and it's only a matter of time before his age catches up to him. He's already shown glimpses of regression.

I get that he's a huge part of the defensive communication but if we're gonna go full rebuild we should clear the $7m, get rid of the age and let young guys like Lee learn to communicate on their own. Cutting Revis, Mangold and Harris in a week would be sentimental but the right thing to do.

2009 best season I have ever seen a corner have. Historic.

I'll reiterate that it makes no sense for the Jets to do anything other than start a young quarterback next season. If they make all these cuts and then sign Cutler I'll have legitimately no idea what the plan here is.

That would just make cutting all these guys feel even worse by signing that dumpster fire of a QB.

Best CB to ever play the game in his prime. As good as he was in the backfield he may have been even better at the negotiation table, a true master.

I'd like to cut him and resign him at a reasonable price. He's still a quality run stopping linebacker, although he's a liability in pass coverage and sweeps. But at $2-3 million he'd be a good value player to keep around.

If Darrelle Revis gets into the HOF before Joe Klecko there is simply no justice in this world

Without Harris who is going to be the leader of the defense? It certainly isn't going to Muhammad.

As frustrating as Revis was, he was only doing what the Jets let him get away with. The real problem was this guy.

Legendary corner. One of the few Jets legit HoF's. That being said, he was always about himself. Definitely time to go.

I'll never forget Revis Island...but after this past year when he showed no effort he can go fuck himself.

If Rex and Tanny hadn't spent half of our 2009 training camp driving back and forth to the Roscoe Dinner maybe we beat Manning a 2nd time and win a ring. Fuck that greedy bastard!
