This is a criminal case; there is no settling out of court in a criminal case. The charges may be plea bargained but only a civil case gets settled . He could actually be sued by the complainants (victims) for damages in a civil court after the criminal case is disposed of, one way or the other.
What country are you talking about, Zach? Anybody in public in the US can be photographed or filmed regardless of if they like it or not. There are large groups of people who make a living out of photographing and filming people (usually those with some fame or notoriety) in public places. Ever heard of the paparazzi?

Not even close. The Supreme Court has ruled that celebrities have no expectation of privacy when in public. This is a fact. look it up.
This is the key phrase: "expectation of privacy" Anyone can record you in public. In a place like a bathroom, it is illegal. Hiding a camera in a hotel room is illegal. Etc.

He doesn't even deserve jail if he's so fucking stupid as to think because he's being filmed he can retaliate by physically attacking them. But he does deserve jail if he's so fucking stupid that he thinks he can physically attack someone because they are filming him and actually does attack them.
