"Fitzpatrick turned down a three-year, $24 million deal with $16 million in guarantees last offseason" how was that even offered??? and how was that not a complete deal-breaker for Macc when Fitz turned it down?? You offer a below average QB $16 mill, he turns it down, and it's oh well, back to the drawing board?? Fitz may be gone but thats only a small burden off. It looks like the real jokers are still around. And by jokers, I mean the people who thought it was a good idea to negotiate these kind of figures with a bum like Fitzpatrick! there is no hope.

Even in his good year he threw a bunch of stinkers. He still doesn't read defenses quickly enough to get out of trouble and gain yards. Luckily last year Marshall didn't drop many and Decker kept pressure down by making some biggies. I sure as hell won't miss the beard being in green.
From this point a year ago until he signed just before camp, most people on this board thought 1) the Jets were low balling him and 2) the 2016 season would be lost without him.
