Ahh, the PBJ, a staple of childhood. But how id yours made?

For me, it is Jif chunky peanut butter, raspberry Jam, and potato bread, with slightly more jam than peanut-butter.

i hear you on the potato bread and slightly more jam. my favorite pb has become skippy natural creamy, cuz like my poop, i don't like seeing nuts in it.
also prefer a good quality strawberry jam. i do up to maine every year and get a year's supply of good jam while i'm up there as the pickins are kinda slim locally even going to country stores and farmer's markets.

as a side note, nutella is also awesome on potato bread.

I've found JIF peanut butter to be the smoothest and creamiest of all. Coat both halves of bread (personal choosing) with a layer of PB then "sandwhich" a layer of Maine wild blueberry jam in between. The PB keeps the jam from making the bread soggy.

So butter and jelly sandwich? That doesn't sound too appetizing.

The only difference for me, is the bread, lightly toasted wheat bread, with crunchy PB and Rasberry jam.

I'll take chunky PB and Strawberry jelly as a sandwich. On toast I like CPB or Orange Marmalade.

me thinks peanut butter hasn't been the same since when they had Hydrogenated oils, and before jellies were inundated with HF corn syrup.

nothing really to complain about the bread, i always preferred wonder with the crust sides cut off to be thrown to the pigeons

A slather of PB, a pound of Nutella, a family size pack of Oreos, and a banana to keep it healthy, on wonder bread from a wonder bra earned at the bar at Applebee's.

I was unaware that anybody older than age 10 still eats PBJ.

Never liked the quality of the peanut butter in that besides I am heavy peanut butter in my PBJ's so it just doesn't cut it.

Been eating them for 50+ years and don't plan on stopping

TGG and arrested development - who would have guessed?

But certainly since the departure of the miniature Orangeman our gastrothreads have markedly declined both in content and quality.

English muffin heated in the microwave for 15-20 seconds with chocolate chips on the top end & Skippy chunky peanut butter.

    Jelly is whack.
