The Jets have hired two offensive assistants -- Jason Vrable (Bills) and Mick Lombardi (49ers). Vrable coached the Bills' running backs last season when Anthony Lynn was promoted to offensive coordinator in Week 3. Vrable was handpicked by new OC John Morton. The Jets didn't say which area he will coach. Lombardi, who spent four years as a low-level assistant for the 49ers, will be the assistant QBs coach. Also, Joe Giaccobe was hired as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. The Jets have announced the hiring of Jeremy Bates as their quarterbacks coach. He has a background with new OC John Morton, as they worked together at USC in 2009. Bates was a QBs coach for the Bears (2012) and Broncos (2008), and he served as the Seahawks' OC in 2010. Curiously, he has been out of football for four years.
It's looking more and more like the Jets are getting ready to make Kaepernick their new QB. Terrible. I hope I'm wrong.
If Cutler or Kaepernick becomes the Jets QB with an expensive price tag I'm done. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
Take perhaps 30% off and I'm good with it..Hell, it could help with our crusade to get a really high DP in 2018.
A bunch of names that we really do not need to bother learning, because they will be gone in about 10 months.
Whaddya talkin about??? Any descendent of Vince Lombardi is welcome here Gets to eat free at the V Lombardi rest stop off of the NJ Turnpike Bowles and Kacy interested...burp
I hate the thought of Cutler but could live with it , IF Kap were to become a Jet I would be done ! That would push me over the edge ! I dont think the Jets would be stupid enough to bring a bad qb (KAP) and his baggage and expect to put fannies in the seats
This seems very dramatic. Cutler and Kap are terrible terrible options and no doubt would be a step in the wrong direction but this is just overkill. I'm curious as to why you only named Kap...
Because I have no tolerance for stupidity and disrespect . The dirtbag didn't even register to vote and he thinks he's going to make a statement and a difference by kneeling during the NA? Cutler is just a past his prime malcontent , I'd sooner deal with that then an whiny little bitch snowflake Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ah, so it's a race/Trump thing. Which is what I suspected. Agree on Cutler though. Even in his prime he wasn't good. Would much rather have a Kap, but would also much rather have neither.
The Constitution does not outline that you have to be registered to vote to have protection. People may not like his protest but it was peaceful and his right to exercise. I spent 20 years in the military defending people's rights.
Thank you for your service . My point was that he is protesting against something that he wants to change yet he doesn't take the necessary steps to bring about change by actually voting against the politicians he disagrees with . Honestly I've soured on the entire NFL as a whole. Goodell wouldn't allow the Cowboys to wear decals in support of the Dallas police yet they have no issue with a halftime show that supports cop killers with that Beyoncé crap. It's just my feeling in the matter . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
