What a jackass. Your team wins a big game and the best way you can find to celebrate is to try to torment the untormentable? Your life must suck worse than ours.
For me, it has lost 100% of its sting. I can now watch it and honestly admire how incredible a catch it was. Whereas I got sick previously. We'll never have to see Tyree catch without immediately also getting to see Edelman catch in any montage. They'll be forever connected. I can easily stomach the two Giant game losses now. 5-2. Anyone upset over two losses out of seven is insane. And, as has been pointed out everywhere, the GOAT conversation finally put to rest (although it should have been 2 years ago)
And they cheated again! White did not score on that last play, his knee was down: You can run the replay in "slow" mode with NFL All Access. It takes at least two more frames before you can actually see the ball over the goal line. Ron
oh boy... it's over Ron. Let it go. Patriots greatest team all time. Belichick and Brady undisputed GOATs. Let it go. Focus on the draft. Go hug your kids. I'll be hugging mine at the parade in a half hour.
With all our talent we couldn't make the playoffs? And the Pats won the SB with theirs? Who tf is James White? Cheatriots all the way. Ron
He's a 2x Super Bowl winning running back, joining Roger Craig as the only running back to have 100+ receiving yards in the Super Bowl, as well as setting SB records for receptions (14) and points scored (20). The Interwebs is an amazing thing.
I found it really odd how they didn't even review the final scoring play. If the rule is that all scoring plays are reviewed, how do you blow off all the confetti and celebrate on the field before it even happens IN THE FRIGGIN SUPER BOWL? Piss poor on the part of the officials and the Houston stadium crew. It was very shady how that went down, as if they were just trying to end the game fast without verifying the most critical scoring play of the year. It reminds me of that Lakers finals against the Pistons were there was time left on the clock and the fans and media just stormed the court after a Lakers layup while the players were still on court setting up their last play and the Pistons totally got screwed because of that. How something like that could happen in 2017 is absurd to me.
Tom Brady says Gisele begged him to retire after winning Super Bowl LI http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...bowl-li/ar-AAmHMC5?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp
Not that I like it more, but the moment after Julian E caught that pass I said it was better than the Tyree catch to the buddies I was watching with. Very opinionated and each are amazing, I just thought his was tougher because it was on the ground and he had multiple defenders making contact with him and the ball before he caught it.
All scoring plays are automatically reviewed by the officials in the scoring booth in all NFL games - normally this takes hardly any time and the extra point takes place without any mention of a “review”. When a touchdown is reviewed and upheld, the referee does not make any announcement. So–absent any statement by the NFL–we can safely assume that the final play of Super Bowl LI was, in fact, reviewed and upheld by booth review.
Yes, Manning cemented that three years ago after he came back from surgery and performed better than ever. Brady's the second greatest of this QB for now, though. In a few years Rodgers will surpass him as well.
