When I came to this country and started watching football, I could have chose any team in the league to root for. I chose the JETS because I pictured perfectly thrown 50 yard bombs and a high powered offence that likes to air the ball out in my mind. Plus my favorite color is green. Even met Mark Sanchez with my father in the anus of that over grown refrigerator looking stadium in the swamp known as metlife. About a week later the JETS lost to the Steelers who then went to the superbowl and won. Oh my God, my greatest moment as a fan is meeting Mark Sanchez! Let that sink in for a second. Somebody please kill me now....

i jumped aboard when they signed namath. a lot of people i know became steelers fans in the 70's, after they moved to the afl/afc and got people from that league who changed everything the team used to do. in the nfl before that, the steelers were a 50 year joke. see, there is still hope for the jets.

The NFL is such an up and down league these days, that the 2017 Jets can go from (4-12) to (10-6) pretty easy. Just as they did from 2014 to 2015. Then of course the 2018 Jets will return to (4-12). I wouldn't give up just yet, but @abyzmul's OP is not wrong. Football is a sport. It is for fun. The Jets for the majority of 2011-now have made it not fun at all. There are better things to do with your time and money so it is really your choice.
