    Could get you killed.
Do they even know what protection means?

Might be the worst I have seen with the Jets in over a decade.

People were saying the same thing after the McElroy 8-9 sack game. The QB has alot to do with it but they are by no means as bad as it appears. With that being said, definitely need a new LT and possibly a RT and im sure they'll be addressed during the offseason and draft.

They're just putting in the same "effort" the rest of the team is putting in.

They were pretty good at run blocking.

Pass protection was shaky but run blocking was pretty good I say!

you can certainly put sacks down to QB's if they stand in there without moving. But when you see players coming through Free on the blindside you have to point fingers at the line. Later in the game Petty got aware of this and started to move around a lot more.

But i miss that line that Pennington used to have. When he could Play action for like 10 seconds knowing that know one was coming through.

Cmon fellas we are throwing guys under the bus that are all "next man up guys". TBH I think they haven't been that bad for guys who are 2nd stringers getting thrown into the fire.

Let's judge this line with a healthy Clady, carpenter and Mangold next year.

The line sucks. Fitz is fairly quick on his release and had a bunch of issues as we saw. If they wish to make any progress they have to improve the line.

we have one decent player on the line - Carpenter - we need some FA talent and a good draft

I thought the O-line played reasonably well. Any D coordinator worth a grain of salt is going to try to put as much pressure as possible on a new QB. No O-line can block consistently if the D is going to bring the house on every play. It's up to our OC to come up with counters such as running plays and screens, which he was able to do very well in this game. It was fortunate the Jets were playing a bad team, so we'll see how they handle a mediocre team next week.

is this the same o-line that got soo much praise for doing well early in the year that you are speaking of?

The one that had Matt Forte running like he was 25?

I like the o-line some what but we need new tackles.. the interior is fine IMO.
