Terrible attempt at a block but Fitz was sitting back there too long doing nothing except hesitating Fitz is a nice guy but a loser as a QB...Always has been and always will be for whatever he has left in the NFL Not sure why everyone knew that except for our FO and some delusional fans but whatever
The crapping in Fitz at times in here is laughable. I watched a Colts game the other day where Luck had worse numbers and there wasn't any complaining about benching Luck by Colts fans but Fitz had a serviceable game that week and here people want him dragged out of town. It's understandable he's only average at best but has anyone bothered to look at the rest of the team when blaming him? There are issues with coaching, play calling, run game, defense, and on and on. Unless those isssues are addressed I don't care who is under center.
I missed that part of the play, but it doesn't change the fact that he was locked into making a throw he didn't need to. Fitz was looking to his right almost the entire time with the ball half cocked.
We lose by 20 or we lose by 6. It really doesn't matter either way. Training camp and preseason is hardly a barometer as to how a player will perform during a real game. You can't substitute real game experience with TC. Its simply not the same as all the parameters are different. Preseason is for shaking out the scrubs and going with your best 53. Once the level of competency has been established, that being the final 53 players, that's your measuring stick. You want to win meaningless games? For what reason...Bragging rights? You want to draft lower middle every year? Do you like missing the playoffs? I bet you were just thrilled when we beat the Titans and Miami several years back. Nevermind it cost us a shot at a true franchise QB since we already have the GOAT on the roster. If your idea of evaluating talent is confined to TC and the preseason, I'm sure Bowles can find room for you on his CS as he feels the same way. That line of reasoning is exactly why this team will NEVER have a franchise QB. Just guys that pass thru and fleece Woody out of a few mil. #FranchiseGoingNowhereOnARocket
