I hate the Cowboys, but they are so much fun to watch this year ... in a sense rooting for them and the SHITTY ASS RAIDERS to get to the SB. I fucking hate the Raiders franchise, but they are very likable as well in terms of players on the roster.
Before this season started, both the Giants and the Jets were 28-36 during the last 4 season. Now some Giants fans are 7-3 puffing their chest out when all 7 of their wins have been by 7 points or less, including 3 wins by 3 points or less. That ball bounces the other way, they're easily 3-7 just like the Jets. Bottom line, I hope the Giants are the first team to lose to the Browns (LOL) and they finish the season 8-8. Look at the rest of their schedule: @ Browns, @ Steelers, Cowboys, Lions, @ Eagles, and @ Redskins. I say they lose to the Steelers, Cowboys, Eagles, and Redskins. This week I'll be pulling for the Browns to get their first W and Odel has a hissy fit.
Growing up a Brooklyn Dodger fan I hated anything Yankees or Giants, so naturally I hated the Giants football team as well. I despised Tittle, Shofner, Gifford, Webster, Huff, etc. Always rooted for the Browns with Jim Brown. Then one day in the mid-90's when the Jets were bad (when weren't they?), I was watching a Giant game when I saw this unknown fullback pressed into service because all the other Giant running backs were injured. His name was Charles Way. He was big, not fast or shifty, but quite adept at following his blocks. He seemed very happy to take his 5+ yds a pop which it seemed nobody could stop. I just loved the way he ran. Of course, he got hurt and had a short career but from then on I became a semi-Giant fan. When the Giants play, I root for them, except of course, when they play the Jets.
Has it really come to this? I know things are bad but jesus we deserve to be mocked as a fan base with the threads I'm seeing here this week.
OBJ is probably my favorite player. But if the Giants go 0-16 for the rest of my life I'm 100% ok with that. Living in NJ the last super bowl I actually rooted for the Patriots to beat the Giants just to not deal with Giant fans and their bullshit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
