    Get your facts straight:
2013 - Congress passes a second continuing resolution for the remainder of FY 2013 that increases the bed quota, stating that DHS “shall maintain a level of not less than 34,000 detention beds.” http://www.immigrantjustice.org/immigration-detention-bed-quota-timeline

The fact is: spending $2 billion a year on detention beds is insane. We certainly need *some* detention beds because *some* of these
people are criminals, but we don't need to deport workers who help us remain competitive with foreign countries. All it will do is shut
down companies, because people and other companies will buy cheaper goods elsewhere.

Maybe we could cut the bed program in half, and use $1 billion for a student loan program, so we don't keep churning out un-educated
white trash DUI's and other offenders, the big market for immigrant jobs because they can't get jobs elsewhere.

To everything there is a season, a time and place.

Forget Pence for a moment: do you actually consider getting in someone's grill at a funeral to be your prerogative? Seriously?

Pence for all his warts handled the whole episode correctly and his "this is what freedom sounds like" comment to his family was in reference to the boos received upon arrival and not Brandon Dixon's post-performance on-stage address.

And it's pretty safe to say that if you're the type to feel "entitled" at a funeral, then you're probably the type to boo and jeer a vice-president-elect and his family in a theater. While booing a veep isn't exactly a "Ford Theater" type transgression, it's pretty low rent nevertheless.

common decency: it's what your grandparent's taught you.

The audience booed not the people on stage. They actually made a point to ask the audience not to boo him. And yes, I felt like Pence handled it like a real man and a real political leader. Trump on the other hand? not so much

That's exactly whom I was referring to: the audience members, NOT Brandon Dixon or the cast.

Maybe you should learn what continuing means before telling me to get my facts straight. If the 113th Congress passed the SECOND CONTINUING Resolution, that would mean the 112th Congress passed the First Continuing Resolution which would mean the 111th Congress originally passed the Bed Quota. If you would have bothered to read your own link you would have seen the bed quota was introduced by a Dem. in 2009.

As far as your problem with the $2 Billion for those beds in the detention center, no problem, as soon as all criminal illegals are gone reduce the number of beds.

The dunces are fooled by the transparent bs of The Dunce. The whole Pence thing was intentional..just to distract everyone
from The Dunce settling the $25 million lawsuit. Of course that couldn't be real either...because The Dunce has never settled
    lawsuits, according to him.

Dunce: /dəns/ noun Someone who fails to realize for there to be a Second Continuing Resolution there would have had to have been a First Continuing Resolution and an original Resolution.

Probably in your neck of the woods, he's a genius.
    The real winner:

"In California, she will nearly double Trump's tally, and out-poll Obama (the 2008 and 2012 version) by about three percentage points. She will receive nine million plus votes in California. These are the votes pushing her national total two million and more votes past that of the President-elect.

She will not be inaugurated two months hence, not in virtue of a pitiful campaign. She wasn’t perfect, and sometimes not very good, but she received support from enough of the republic to win the office in any universe not governed by an 18th century compromise with the slave-owning aristocrats of the Carolinas and Virginia.

She has 2.5 million more votes than the person who will be inaugurated. That is not a close margin."

The electoral college did exactly what it was designed to do by keeping the power from being exclusive to the most populated areas.

God damn you are stupid. Here is what I said in response to you incorrectly saying that it was a Republican Congress that was behind Obama's record setting deportations.

    To that you replied

I then had to point out that only a dunce would think a second continuing resolution was the first action rather than what it was, the 3rd action. The first being brought about by a Dem. Senator in a majority Dem. Congress under a Dem. President.

You, lost for a further response, state that I don't "understand that Sen. Byrd is not Barack Obama." when I never said that, nor implied it. For someone that can not grasp simple concepts you sure do throw around the word dunce a lot.

Yes, I think it's my right if someone wants to commit human rights violations that they should be forced to hear about it 24/7.

Again. Liberals fail to understand that these candidates campaigned to win. I highly doubt Trump even set foot in California. If the popular vote mattered, he would've gained more of a popular vote in certain places.

He wants to commit human rights violations? The hysteria is quickly approaching critical mass here.

He's admitted it. He think gay people should be electrocuted. He thinks people should be punished for having abortions.

Pence is anti-human rights and it's a well known fact.
