And that's where I give credit to Phil Simms, who is without a doubt, one of the best color announcers in the game.

Picking up on the Jets' good play in the poor weather conditions, he mentioned how Mangini had the team practice outdoors during the week when it rained.

    Kudos to Phil

I just want 2 of the 3 backpages...I know one of them will be the Giants...

But of the Post, Daily News, and Newsday...Jets better have one backpage.

Sean Salisbury on ESPN News actually gave the Jets props on "The blitz" segment of the channel. At least we got it from the correct ESPN Announcer.

He is probably the Best on TV Right now if not top 3 easily.

He sounded excited about today's game and was just hitting us with good stuff all game long...
    Definite Props to Sims

I think Jaworski and Salisbury both like the Jets. Whenever we do something good, they make sure they give us their props.

Also, I heard Ditka say some nice things about our performance, and that Mangini totally outcoached Belichick today.

TJ and Boomer just gave major props to the jets on the Blitz. I expected that from them though, they are the best on ESPN.

Wait until the power rankings start coming out on tuesday, and after we knock off the Bears next week. Then the league and the sports media will be FORCED to take notice. I think it's already beginning. If we had won the Browns game before this, I think right now the Jets would definitely be getting a ton of respect, but that loss did hurt.

Funny they weren't hindered by the blizzard conditions when they beat Oakland in the "Tuck" Bowl. I'd have to think somewhere between 2002 and today the Pats won a game in bad weather on thier home field. It is freaking New England after all. I love how they fail to mention that the Jets had to play in the exect same conditions. Jesus Tom Brady played at Michigan.... find me a place that has worse weather.

SCREW THE COLTS! The day they win the Super Bowl is the day I will completly respect them as a top NFL team. Until that day happens, they are still the biggest chokers in the world and I can care less if they do have the best QB in the NFL, because he can't get it done when it relly counts and his defense nearly coughed up another near loss.

I can still see that playoff scoreboard in the Meadowlands.

    JETS 41
    COLTS 0

    ahhhhhh....
that has nothing to do what i was talking about.
I agree with on on that the colts are the biggset choking in the NFL, when was the last time they beat us in the playoffs? but i was saying that the media loves them more than they like us.

Are you kidding me!! Everyone knows the Jets don't get respect but we've learned to deal with that, but the Yanks. The Yankees are always covered on ESPN, they're almost always on at the top of the hour on sportscenter and constantly getting attention because of their roster.

yeah, exactly. when I saw the rain in pregame. I looked to my friend and said, this could work to our disadvantage with the Pats running game.

if anything we shouldve been using the weather excuse while the pats run all over us.............oh wait we went out and played footbll and won.

yeah of course the media will make excuses. they gotta have bandwaggon teams, cause only casual sports fans take their word seriously.

A bad lose is much bigger news then a good win. We would have had a better chance of getting a backpage if we played close and lost in the end
