I was laughing when I saw that handshake at the end, you could tell Mangini was beaming and wanted to just laugh in BBs face. Classic.

Another thing that bothered me with Belichick was that fake spike call. You know he was just trying to nail it to the Jets. He knows how devastating that Marino spike was, I bet he has been waiting to use that against us for some time. I'm glad it didn't work. Who says that NE can't lose two in a row???? A good day to be a Jets fan today, and it should make the atmosphere in the stadium much better next Sunday....

Hahah. I saw it again on NFL Net. What a sore loser. I don't think he even spoke a word to Mangini.

Good. BB is a scumbag. He always has been, he always will be. Even going back to his days in Cleveland, he was known as a jerkoff.

That's okay, you know what his problem is? He knows his best protege got the job that will take his team's place in the dominant spot for the AFCE for the next half decade.

    I'd be pissed too.

Tough luck Billy Boi. Your clock is ticking down. The current HC of the NYJ just took you down in your own house!

Belichik is gonna find out sometime soon how tough it is to do anything when you have no friends in your corner and a lot of guys out there who would like to see you fall flat on your face.

The Pat's dynasty is over. Whether it keeps on stringing itself along without winning the big one, as the Yankees have done since 2000, is an open question.

I make the Pats 50/50 to be the 3rd place team in the AFC East within 2 years.

Booo hoooo. My assistants can't get other jobs with other teams. I want them to myself. The guy is a genuine asshole and jerk. I'm glad Mangini beamed in his face while he had to force himself to give a handshake...

Nah, what he's pissed about is that Mangini didn't hang around under his thumb for the next 3 seasons or so until he could hand the team to him. Then Belichik would have slid upstairs into a cushy front office job (paid much better than Mangini), just a phone call away from his hand-picked coach.

It's the same scenario that Belichik turned down from Parcells in 2000. It really sucks when you get hoisted on your own petard...

So basicly the same situation he was in with the Tuna, that he couldn't wait to get out of. Sounds a bit hypocritical to me..
