Screw it, I don't think Petty is good but for some reason every QB Stokes liked has been great this year. Onto the Petty bandwagon I go.

Until he sucks. Then I'm onto the Hack bandwagon.

And then the Mitch Trubisky bandwagon. Time is a flat circle.

The Shitzpatrick bandwagon has lost its wheels, burned its supplies, abandon its women and children, got drunk on shitty moonshine and woke up face down in the shit hole they dug for an outhouse. That sums up the Jets season, and the coaching staff.

We all need to jump onto any other bandwagon we can.

Mac better clean house with his coaches before he's run out of town.

I agree that it's time to get the young guys some reps.

Let's start with the backup offensive lineman next week, with Fitz under center.

Nah the backups are better than the starters. I say play Breno straight up with no help against the opposing D's best lineman if Shitzpatrick starts and let their D feast on Shitz and FINALLY get him into the concussion protocol with no escape until February 2017

I don't agree at all that it didn't hurt us. The fact that the Jets scored 90 seconds later and took the lead has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with this INT. Without the INT, the Jets are down 20-19 (assuming yet another FG) and the muffed punt maybe doesn't happen. Or, if it does, the Jets score and it's now 25-20 or 27-20 depending on if they hit the 2 pt conversion. And even THAT assumes that everything that happened after the INT would happen the exact same way. Which is nearly impossible.

That's the same logic that people used to blame Folk for the loss in week 1. "We lost by a point, he missed a PAT in the 1st quarter, it's his fault!!!!!". No, 3 quarters of football and decisions would not have been exactly the same, just as the remainder of this game would not have been exactly the same.

Now, if you want to say we still had a chance to win despite the INT, then you have a point. But to say it didn't hurt at all, that's just shortsighted.

Not to mention that most of those 3rd and 1 plays are run from a shotgun, cuz you know, we don't want to give away that we're going to pass or anything. Morons.

I would never wish an injury on any player, but given the situation, I'm about at that point with Fitz right now.... if that's what it's going to take for Bowles to bench him, then for the good of the team's future, it needs to happen

I crossed this line at about 3 pm when the geriatric fuck threw INT in the end zone.

In all honesty I would rather avoid throwing another potential QB into the fire prematurely. Especially behind this piss poor line. The season is shit, take a few more weeks to prepare Petty a little more, re-evaluate after the bye.

No need to rush things at this point. We don't stand to win anything this year and as much as we desperately want that franchise QB, stunting the growth of a talented player like Petty early would be the worst situation for us.

I don't mind Fitz continuing this shit show for awhile. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain at this point.

Just because the Jets got the ball back in great field position (because of a Miami mistake, not because the Jets caused the turnover) and ended up scoring doesn't mean the turnover was meaningless. The Jets had an opportunity to score a TD or a field goal and didn't. The fact that the Jets scored again doesn't mean that they didn't leave points on the field. If not for the INT the chances are that the Jets may have scored twice in that short time period.

As soon as I saw the Jets in the shotgun with no RB (on third and short) I thought the same thing. It seems like Chan has run this numerous times recently and it nearly always fails. Why would you continue to give away your intensions to the defense - especially when you have been mostly unsuccessful in the past? It boggles the mind.

    This situation boggles the mind.

I hope Fitz's extra $3 million in playing time and playoff incentives is not a factor.

There were 3 DBS for Miami in that area and no Jets. Even if a Jet receiver got over there he would have thrown to triple coverage. And if 3 guys are over there, 1 or 2 Jets are open over here. Not to mention that he back footed a lob over there.

BLOW IT UP!!!!!! Bench Revis and Fitz. Let's evaluate the youth on the team and get going in a new direction.

he was looking right at the area too. It would be one thing if he was looking off defenders and hoping the reciever would get to the spot. Nope. He looked and saw no one was there but dolphin players and threw it anyway. Harvard my ass. I thought Geno Smith was supposed to be the dumb QB

No amount of player input should be involved in deciding who the Qb is. Unfortunately, Bowles and Macc were bent over by Fitz in the offseason and this was compounded by Decker and Marshall constantly chirping about needing to sign him.

It's in large part why we find ourselves in this position. Macc and Bowles succumbed to pressure and signed a third string QB to a 12 million dollar contract.

Benching Fitz would not lose the locker room, and anyone who would be selfish enough to cause a distraction should be put on the non-injury reserve list. You either play with whomever is under center, or you can sit down.

Also, on a side note, I would trade Wilkerson for a 4th or 5th round pick at this point.
