Full credit to Jason Garrett for going for it on 4th and less than 1 on the Philly 26 in OT.

And cool as a cucumber Prescott waits and waits and then finds Whitten all alone in the end zone to win it.

Prescott is the real deal. Romo should never see the field again for Dallas unless Prescott gets hurt.

    Woodhead and abyzmul like this.

The only receivers he targeted in the first half were Bryant and Elliott. Almost like he was instructed to.

In the second half he started throwing to the rest of them and it blew the game open.

    Best rookie QB in decades.

Are you a comedian? Ridiculous offensive line with a great running back, that's why they win.

Dak threw like 5 picks in that game. Fortunately for him the Eagles can't catch the ball. If you had a healthy Romo in that game this game isn't even close. Not a knock on Dak but he's nowhere as good as their record indicates.

Half way through the NFL season. Who is your MVP?

    Derek Carr?
    Tom Brady?
    Zeke?
    Dak?

    Anyone I'm missing?

Zeke should be on. Demarco Murray has similar stats, but not the wins. David Johnson is having a better season than both though, without the wins.

I don't know why Dak is on your list or Brady? Brady most likely be on the list by the end of the season. Dak won't be on the list. Dak probably wins offensive rookie of the year though. You should have Matt Ryan on there. Carr should be there. Cousins, Brees, and Dalton need to find more wins but their stat line is on par with the others.

A.J. Green, Julio Jones, Amari Cooper.

Not even looking at defense, either.

    Dak: 9 TDs, 2 INTs, 99.6 rating
    RG3 rookie season: 20 TDs, 5 INTs, 102.4 rating

    I would say they're comparable.

I hate John Fox...two weeks in a row he's been giving Carey more carries than Howard and it looked like Carey was going to get more carries going forward and Langford was back in the mix too so I dropped Howard in the fantasy league here and now this week Howard's going off.

Romo would have been injured in the first quarter.

    There's no "healthy Romo" anymore.

Because box score stats tell the story.

Nevermind that Washington ran the same system that Griffin ran in college and that same system got exposed and destroyed the following season.

Prescott is running a pro style offense. And recently broke Brady's second year non-INT record (which is probably why that twat Pats fan langdon hates him).

    Are they really that comparable?

Prescott is comparable to Russell Wilson's rookie year. He does his damage from the pocket and picks his spots with a lot of talent around him.

He looks great but I still wonder how he will do when/if teams start blitzing more effectively on him. That was a weakness in college of his. I want to see how he does @pittsburgh in a couple weeks and @minnesota later. I mean they have had a pretty easy schedule so far.

I think they work out good. I record the game and by the time I get up, have my coffee and am semi-functional, I throw on the game. This fills the void between around 11:30 or so and the 1 o'clock game.

Hindsight is 20/20. Did you know RG3 was going to get exposed and destroyed before it happened? At the time RG3 was seen as the greatest rookie ever.

i can't speak for abyzml specifically but there were alot of people out there questioning whether that "one read and go" gimmick offense was sustainable at the time

Does it matter what I thought? It's what happened.

Hindsight doesn't make a fact any less true.
