Really? Based on the history of Top 10 busts over and over again. By "real" QB I hope you mean elite or at least very good. They do not come around all that often. I'd say Matthew Stafford is a real QB, but is not elite and has 0 playoff wins in his career. Matt Ryan is great this year but average last year and hasn't crossed over into elite status. Same for Andrew Luck.

It's still a crapshoot whether the draft produces great quarterbacks as we wait on Mariotta and Winston to develop into top tier level.

No shit it's a crapshoot. And yes really. There will be talented QB's available if the Jets draft in the top 10. The real question is will the Jets talent evaluators (Mac) pull the trigger on the right one.

O'Brien would be looking for a new job if this scenario played out and he went with Hack starting. Instead he got Brock and currently leads his division. Hackenberg has a ways to go before he can be a starting qb. Will he make it there, I believe so.

They're in first place despite Brock.

Fitz is better suited to slow-pitch softball as a pitcher

Definitely. That's why he has such a "bush"-y beard.

....or maybe 3rd base coach. Teams use outfielders that can throw the ball further than 10 feet!!

Or maybe Fitz can be that 4th outfielder we see in Softball that plays just on the outfield grass!

Fitz and Chuck Knoblauch must be long lost throwing partners.

Weird, though. He practiced against this defense a whole lot

The Texans drafted Tom Savage a couple years ago. He was injured in the preseason last year. This year he came back and looked more than fine. He's the current backup. He's a legit QB. Hackenburg is a mess.

Can't remember who said it from Denver, but they said in practice they always knew what he was going to do.

They really just need to get rid of GMs in football. Why should the GM or head coach make any draft picks when the fans know so much better than them? They should just let the fans vote on the draft picks and draft accordingly. Forget the experts and the people most familiar with the team.

    I feel your pain.

But as someone else mentioned, I don't think Denver really wanted him. Each of the two they have now has a greater upside.
