Jets won today BUT, it was one of the uglier wins any of us have seen over the last several years. We were lucky we played a team that sucked worse than we do. By the end of the game, the D finally showed up.

Gailey still ABSOLUTELY SUCKS when it comes to the Red Zone. Considering how good we were last year you have to wonder if senility is setting in on the Ancient Coordinator or perhaps his Qb is playing at his real career level.

Either way, winning ugly is still a win. I can only hope this win doesn't raise expectations too high. As many have said, we'll play ourselves out of a top-10 pick and call it a great season. Not so bad considering we'd probably fck that pick up anyway.

I dunno about you guys, but these 1st down runs are getting as old as those stupid shovel passes. What should be interesting is if Geno really isn't hurt badly, does he start next week or are we back to FitzTragic.

Just another game in another season in Jet Land.

This was a meaningless win against an even more injured (than the Jets) Ravens team.

Even then, the Jets struggled mightily in the first half.

At this point I feel so bad for Geno suffering these fluke injuries. I hope he can play v. Cleveland.

The team seems destined to be 6-10, which may not be an absolute killer because it's not like there is some stud QB prospect waiting for the teams drafting top 3. I'd much rather pick higher, but a pick in the 8-12 range is less devastating when there are no top QB prospects.

Some games the other QB hands it to you, and that's what Flacco did in the 3rd quarter. As much as we have struggled, there was just no way we were going to lose at home to a mediocre team that gave us 3 TOs in a quarter. Long-term, I cannot remember a time when the team's direction was more muddled. QB is again the huge question mark, ranging from next week to next season to beyond.

The defense really stepped up today. But let's face it, The Ravens offense was well, offensive.

The defense did not seem to miss Wilkerson much.

We ran the ball better today and we're a better offensive team when we have some success running. Ravens going through their 2nd coordinator think there offense is getting better? Makes Gaily looks like a genius!

Bowles was upset that they didn't get to open it up with Geno...said they were planning on it but wanted to get him and the team comfortable and then he left the game

Maybe they'll look better if Geno can play against Cleveland

    But we'll take it

    9 more and we're golden.

Geno looked rusty, he took a boneheaded sack, followed by a nice TD pass, then another boneheaded sack to knock him out of the game. Pretty much his career.

I hope he can start again next week.

Geno played a perfect game against Miami once.

Him leaving the game did allow us to go to 3-4 which is historically TB's preferred style and also what we've tended to draft towards.

Who'd have thought that playing guys in their natural positions would mean a better performance?

We play them twice coming up.

At least Geno can throw his picks farther down field.

IDK why we don't see more fades to marshall in the red zone. it worked great last year. Sure teams know it's coming but who cares its marshall1 on 1 with a CB probably 6 inches shorter then him and a jump ball. My money is on marshall 9 out of 10 times. we clearly can't pound it in running so why not just throw it up to marshall more?
