When they have thrown to Forte, its always been short crossing routes. They save the shovel passes for Powell.

Forte's running ended when Fitz started throwing 4,5,6 ints a game. Defenses stacked the box, playing 7,8,9 men within 5 yrd of the LOS, daring the Jets to beat them on Fitz arm. Teams have taken away the run/short game, forcing Fitz to throw. This is why you see Fitz throwing 15 yrd outs to Marshall on 3rd and 3. Nothing will change until Fitz changes, or until Bowles changes the lineup.
We should stick with Forte. He has the pedigree and can get it done. I am not saying this because he is on my fantasy team, and I have no one else.

Exactly. So we should basically never factor in having a second round pick. We've had two second round picks picks actually play a legitimate role on this team since 1999. David Harris and LaMont Jordan (change of pace back). I guess you could throw Victor Hobson in there as he was an extremely average starter. Good lord I knew it was bad as of recently but I had no idea it was historically this bad.
Wasting Forte as a receiver he can get down the field on a LB, a big mismatch but Noodlearm can't get it to him
Ivory was successful running out of the I, much less so out of shotgun. He needs the fullback and the running start. Forte looks much the same to me. Both have gotten beat up taking on linebackers in the hole, and powered down greatly after the first few games. You'd think they'd have caught on to that after last year. But Fitz is a shotgun guy, and I suspect Gailey is also. No matter, no defense is afraid of the run when we're behind all the time.

That's what I thought. That post had me scrambling around the internet to see what the heck happened, LOL! Buffalo originally cut him because he came to camp overweight by about 30 pounds, got injured and had a pissy attitude. Apparently the Jets staff found something similar when they took a look at him shortly thereafter. Too bad, he could have been a factor on the field.
Bingo... Agree completely.... fitz can not make the throws to open up the D so your right... until something changes I see us piling up losses... and HC getting on thin ice.
