Stop wearing white at home

    This is my 4th year with this campaign. I don't care how hot it is, stop wearing white at home for the September games. Every year the team advertising campaign says something about Green. GREENER this and GREENER that. GANGGREEN for a reason. You don't see Big Blue wearing white at home, neither should we. Stick to the green, develop an indentity. I'm done with seeing the Jets wear green for 4 out of the 16 games.

    Don't give me the heat excuse. "Revis dropped that INT due to fatigue as a result from wearing dark colored uniforms." See how stupid it sounds? I know they never listen and will continue to wear white at home, but oh well, it's worth a try.

    They will forever be losers and choke-artists, who seldom get it right. This is just me being angry at the current state of the franchise. It's another example of the franchise trying to be differentt and another example on the long list of things the franchise does to make themselves look stupid.

    White on White would be just fine.
    Stop wearing the fucking green pants.

    The most classic and iconic Jets uniform has always been the white jersey with white pants.[​IMG]

    Totally agree, the white on white is our best uniform. The green jerseys were good when it was one color green (pre Nike). They look weird now.

    We're 1-4, on a 3 game losing streak and just lost our 2nd best offensive player to the IR in Eric Decker. I couldn't care less what color jerseys we wear.

    I think this thread has merit. Wearing white at home reminds of the generic jets of the Joe Walton era in the late 80s. Visiting teams would come in to Jersey, wear their "home" dark uniforms, and then beat the crap out of Joe Walton's jets. Not sure this year's team would beat anyone wearing white or dark--with our coaching, secondary, coaching, offense line, coaching, QB...did I mention our coaching?

    white at home is annoying. it annoys the shit out of me that the cowboys do it and i enjoy the redskins doing it back to them.

    and while were at it go back to goddamn kelly green. this hunter green shit is not the jets.

    Kelly green jersey, white pants, white or grey facemask, white socks with thick Kelly green strip at top.

    I mean, how difficult is this to get right?

    BURN the green pants. Then BURN the ashes. Then BURN the building you burnt the ashes in. Nothing is coming back from that.

    Pretty sure we do wear the green jerseys at home. Week 4 at home vs the Seahawks I think they wore all white for a white out thing when they give out the towels. We wore green week 1 right ?
