So the guy taken 9th overall as the replacement for Revis, can't even beat out an un-drafted FA. So Jet-like...

  5. I hated the pick.It was done to save face & plug the hole that was left by trading Revis.Great player trades followed by using the received pick to plug the positional hole almost never works.I'm skeptical of all Alabama DB's..mainly b/c they have no room to grow due to them already receiving great coaching/training as well as surrounding talent. He was always banged up even in college but to his credit played through it. He wasn't that tough when he came to the NFL. He also lacked some quickness necessary for man coverage

It's hard to criticize the pick too much from a value perspective though. No one thought it was a reach at the time. Most thought he was a top 10 corner. Maybe in a non man based scheme he would've lived up to the billing.

Just imagine if this pick did turn out and Dee was a solid #2. This defense would have youth at all three levels. That said, bye Dee. You stole your money here

Didn't like the pic cuz there is no way the JETS could trade a CB for a haul, and turn that haul into a direct replacement

Always smelled bad. Take best available or trade down

    Idzik moron

Let's hope his agent contacts him to let him know. I'm sure he's busy counting all the money he made not doing shit.

Wow that is a rather underwhelming group of 1st round picks.
Fisher and Joeckel have under performed.
Jordan is a bust. Johnson suspended. Ansah is solid.
Mingo is a special teamer in new England. Cooper has been injured and traded to NE.
Austin has not delivered enough of the big plays the Rams were looking for. Milliner = injured all the time.
Chance Warmack has been a solid starter but not at a first round level. Now on IR.
DJ Fluker is similar to Warmack and is a guard who starts but is not anything special. .DJ Hayden is a backup CB with Oakland.
And at #13 the Jets hit a home run.

All but Ziggy Ansah have fell short in their NFL careers.

Imagine if we got average starter contribution from the guy. Imagine the same with Quinton Coples, Stephen Hill, Amaro, McDougle, Geno Smith!!

Tannenbaum did the same thing with Vlad Ducasse after he bounced Alan Faneca.

I hope this makes us more wary of signing players who were often injured in college
