Amazingly, the Pats have only managed to win it all once in the last 12 years. So, let's hold the parade off for a few more weeks.

Obviously a lot changes from week to week but I was thinking the same thing. The Houston offense has been extremely predictable so far.

The thing with the Pats is that they always win the games where everyone considers them undermanned. Having pointed that out, this game is far from over.

Can you imagine the threads of here if Fitz missed a throw like that with a contract like Osweilers?

Unfortunately, pro sports rarely work that way.

True. If they'd won in 2007 and 2011. The reality would be unbearable.

Same reason Manning never won more. Elite QB costs money and your team is never truly balanced because of it

I agree with you in general, but disagree in the case of the Pats. The Pats mostly haven't won more because of bad luck against the Giants. They have easily been the best team in the league, year in and year out, over that aforementioned time span.

Brock Osweiler sucked as a 4 year old, too

no doubt. Arguably the best coach in NFL history, at this point.

I don't get why Osweiler was even a desirable commodity in the offseason. Strong supporting cast in Denver and he wasn't exactly good.

Osweiler is very mediocre, but, to be fair, I also think New England's defense is better than it is generally given credit for.

Looks like that Pats D is trying to force the Texans to drive the length of the field.

true - but, it just highlights the amazing lack of quality QBs in the NFL.

That's what they always do. That's part of their genius. BB virtually always plays a 'bend but don't break' defense. If you notice, the Pats are always relatively easy to move the ball on, but always manage to force critical turnovers and make key stops in the redzone.

The Texans must not want to win this game with their 3rd down play calling.
