Okay. Charles ran the wrong way. You say Fitz can't make the same play. I say he can. I showed a clip where he did virtually the same thing. Is either guy going to make the play every time? No. What's your point?
But he didn't do the same thing. Look at the formation differences and how close 1 is to the goal line. It's not as easy to make that play. Alex Smith is a better scrambler then Ryan Fitzpatrick and they cannot do the same things. Of course, we all love Fitzpatrick right now, but let's not make him something he's not.
Right, it's always easier to scramble for eighteen yards than for five; easier to get past five or six defenders than one or two. Let's just watch the game and see if either gets a chance to scramble. Isn't this supposed to be about Lee's abilities, not either QB's?
Hey dont sleep on Ryan Vickpatrick... look at the move he put on that safety! #34! Made that dude do a whole 360 he was chasing a ghost out there! That boy gooood!
See that's what was initially talked about before you decided to blindly attack me for my statement. It was about spying on Alex Smith on certain plays.
Alex is a runner, He was was a running QB in college that is why the transition took a while. Fitz is a scrambler very big difference. Does not matter we need to contain smith stop the big play and then put up some points. Our offense will be the key to this game not the defense in IMHO.
Fitz looks so awkward when he runs, but he gets the job done. Still, he makes me nervous when he crosses the LOS because he doesn't slide nearly as much as he should.
Who made the statement that introduced Fitzpatrick into this conversation and how is it relevant to Lee covering Smith?
i dont know that we are fortunate lee dropped to us. and he certainly isnt more rare then a 2 way stud edge rusher. Lee isnt evena first round talent. he is more a novelty.
You have no idea what you are talking about. You claim Brandon Spikes was a really good linebacker, but Lee isn't a first round talent and is obviously head and shoulders better then him. You have an issue evaluating players. From linebackers to running backs.
