If TE is going to be a blocking or secondary position in the offense, and with the RB and WR's they have it is, kGetting a decent TE shouldn't be too hard. Pats will probably cut Harbor, Bear Pascoe is a FA, and some other borderline TE's will be available.

The fact that they have not cut Eugene, still makes me question their ability to assess talent.

I think there is a good chance we are picking someone up on waivers at the FB/RB position...

Don't the Jets get some back if he signs on elsewhere? Like the 4m gets offset by his new teams pay? So when Rex signs signs him for 3.5M it will only cost 500k?

You don't keep a guy if he's complete crapola like Milliner was. Even the Yankees were willing to eat 25 million a year because AROD sucked so bad.

I love the message it sends. I don't love cutting Amaro but same goes there. You don't perform to Macc and Bowles' standards, you're gone. We haven't had this type of no nonsense front office and coaching staff since… I don't even know when.

I do trust them, they know a lot more about the roster than what we see in limited time in PS.

They haven't made any WTF moves that should upset anyone. Some are surprises, mostly due to their draft status, not on field performance. Milliner has been lucky to last as long as he has, Amaro hasn't shown anything. Sucks, but you can't lose new talent, waiting for old talent.

rookies returning punts make me nervous.
I'm glad we kept J Marshall, but kinda wished we still had Ross for punts too.

You don't keep a TE that can't block and can't catch in a passing era. He was like Stephen Hill, hands of stone. I like the move.

Yes and it's not even close. Davis can barely figure out how to put 1 foot in front of the other to complete the task of moving forward.

No. He's got guaranteed money on the cap the Jets just have to eat next year. Then next year that 4 million is freed up for the new year. Let's not worry about it though too much.

I'm shocked we either kept RB Williams or 4 RT (Giacomini, Ijalana,Qvale and Shell) over such a serviceable returner as Ross.

The more I think about it the more it seems clear that Bostick, Howsare and Josh Martin won their place over Sudfeld, Bohannon and Bishop on ST... maybe same for McDougle vs Milliner.
