Introduction

As I stated last night both Maccagnan & Bowles as a G.M/HC duo turned a team coming off a 4-12 season into a 10-6 team. That differential of +6 games was one of the best turnarounds within the league, not to mention the fact that Maccagnan & Bowles walked away with the steal of the draft in Leonard Williams who had #1 overall talent/ability.

But yet all you seem to care about and harp all over is "Hackenberg". No mention of any of the above. No mention of how the likes of an undrafted rookie in Robby Anderson just stole the NFL show throughout preseason.

Maccagnan has done one hell of a job thus far. Including locking up a cornerstone defensive lineman in Wilkerson for years to come, bringing Revis back home, stealing Matt Forte etc.

Don't let it bother you, this board is for venting. Some use facts and some just attack other posters when they get thinky pain. One big rule is never criticize a draft pick the first year, and then later when you are right about a draft pick sucking you hear nothing but crickets ie...Stephen Hill, Vernon Gholston , Mark Sanchez, Dee Milliner, Dougie MgDougle, Geno Smith, Oday Aboushie, now Darron Lee and Hackenberg. is this guy serious about Paxton and hack, did u see the play calls hack was given last night, there is no way in hell those play calls will be called during the regular season, the play calling was more vanilla than vanilla extract , they had the 3rd string o line out there protecting him, he might have been better off with the penn state line he had as a sophomore and junior , I was actually laughing at the tv cuz of the play calling cuz I knew they were giving him garbage plays to run, , they obviously aren't gonna tip their hand and show anything in the preseason

 

now having said that , a couple of throws could have been better but he shouldn't have thrown them to begin with , trying to make something out of nothing by doing that

Please give this draft a chance. Am I reading this wrong? Is someone actually insinuating that Lee and Hack are wasted picks after what we saw so far? Or is it more along the lines that they feel butt hurt because Big Mac did not pull the trigger on their particular preference.
Do some of U guys believe on any kind of a proper learning curve or do you think that rookies were born to be perfect when picked in the first two rounds. Has anybody seen the Rams with their number # pick?
In less than two games Hack showed me that as previously advertised he is raw but very naturally gifted, and Lee is very football talented with speed to burn, and could contribute on special teams from day one.
You guys make it sound like the classic Tebow/Gholston robot cop players of the past.
