Glass QB. Jason La Canfora Verified account @JasonLaCanfora 5m5 minutes ago The Cowboys discovered a fractured verterbae in Tony Romo's back. Expected to miss 6-10 weeks. Wow
what's odd is Jones and Garrett insisted after the game he was fine. MRI shows broken bone. All the reports were wrong. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/cowboys-qb-tony-romo-injury-ends-minor-article-1.2766779 The quarterback lasted just 90 seconds into the Cowboys’ 27-17 preseason loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night before leaving with what appeared at first to be a potentially significant injury, but ended up being minor. Romo was tackled from behind by Seattle’s Cliff Avril on the third play from scrimmage as Romo scrambled from the pocket. He immediately grabbed at his back, crumpled on the field while trainers sprinted from the Dallas sideline and images of Romo’s injury problems from last year immediately flashed to mind. Turned out it was all just a scare. Romo walked off the field without assistance, threw passes on the sideline and lobbied for a return to the game. Dallas coach Jason Garrett opted to play it safe and Romo donned a baseball hat as a spectator the rest of the night.
Time for Romo to retire before something serious happens to him. Cowboys aren't going far with or without him anyway. Sent from my BLU LIFE ONE X using Tapatalk
The Jets need to offer Geno Smith to them via trade. Even if Prescott is going to start, you need a solid back-up QB for him.
If ever there was a time for Geno to have a good game it is now. Trade value is going to shoot up from nothing to a conditional 7th rounder.
He posted a perfect game in his last start................has been good in practice.............something about never having decent weapons.........rex........actual game experice..........stuff
And it's Jerry Jones we're talking about here. Maybe we can fleece him out of Ronald Leary, or more realistically offer Geno and a 7th for him.
