Explain exactly why this is a disaster?

Ok so because of that failed deal with a QB now playing for the Jets with maybe one more year left at most, and given Taylor's performance last year, how does that equate to a disaster?

Ok. It is not a disaster. It is a completely sane and legitimate move by the Bills front office. Happy?

The deal in itself has many incentives and also gives the Bills an out if things fall apart, it's basically a win-win for both sides.

Jury's still out on Tyrod IMO. He could be good.

Valid point. Better pocket presence with experience tho.

Don't get me wrong I hope he fails miserably.

It's one of the best QB deals out there. Jets fans really show their ignorance and stupidity by looking at only the overall term and figure and nothing more. Anyone who thinks this is a bad deal cements their stupidly out loud in front of everyone.

If that's the case Russell Wilson would already be out of the league. There are some similarities between Wilson and Taylor not to mention the Bills have a good backfield

    9.5M in 2016, 12M base and 15.5 in options for in 2017.

It's basically a 2-year "show me" deal and a very reasonable price.

    Very good deal.

It's such a good deal that Bills fans had to come rushing over to a rival teams board to defend it.
$18.6M a year to a QB with 14 starts under his belt.
I'm hoping he plays just good enough for them to pay that option next year.

As much as I hate the Bills, I can only hate Tyrod because of his potential to beat us. Whenever we played against him, I was legitimately scared for our defense. He's extremely mobile, and has a rocket arm with surprising accuracy. Sure, the jury is still out to see if he's consistent, but it's just my gut feeling that he's good and will remain good.

First,I will say I respect Tyrod for signing this type of deal because it's a bet on myself type of deal and that says a lot about an athlete nowadays who most are just money hungry divas.
With that said,if it is so great for the team then why within minutes of the deal being announced Bills fans run here to see what we have to say about it and then defend it?Why aren't you on the pats fans board running your mouth? They are roasting your team over this signing yet you are here with all the name calling and big talk.Is it because your team can't beat them on the field so you'll just hide from them altogether?

And speaking of fan types, why are you running around P*ts forum?

It is okay for them to come here, and talk about how awful Fitzpatrick will be. But it is wrong for us to joke about Tyrod. Got the idea?
