I dont see what the problem is. Its the Republican platform that people's right to arms shall not be infringed. They might as well walk the walk then at their convention. Would seem hypocritical to me to be all pro gun rights and then restrict this at their very own convention. Trump himself has made the point over and over about these shootings being at gun free zones. Even saying "we're getting rid of gun free zones". well alright then- here is a great chance to set an example.
The RNC is going to be guarded and secured extremely well, but the participants will not be allowed to carry.
